【春节】华师附外美高专家：“没想到你是这样的春节”
春去春又来，又到一年春节。作为中国传统文化中最重要的节日，千百年来我们在传承，也在革新。对于我们春节更多意味的是团圆，但在外国友人们的眼中，春节又会被贴上怎样的标签呢？
今天，来自美国德州国际领袖高中的校监Thomas Seaberry博士、助理校长Charles先生、德州国际学术总监Hammerle博士以及华师附外美式高中学术校长Tatiana女士，在华师附外美式高中校长吴波先生的陪同下，体验了逛花市、品美食等活动。几位校长及专家们都是第一次在中国过春节，更是第一次行花街，逛花市。他们普遍对中广州逛花市的传统年俗感到兴奋和好奇，比如：男女老幼，单身已婚会买不同花，每种花草都有不同的花语寓意，同时，在体验花市过程中，他们也被广州民间工艺美术，如掐丝珐琅，广绣、广彩、玉雕、榄雕、压花、岭南画派、醒狮制作等折服，在热闹又温馨的一天中，也留下了他们美好瞬间的剪影。

我们常说，美食，是一座城市的回味。作为岭南传统文化，喝早茶成为了“老广们”一天之中的头等大事。今天，几位校长及专家除了体验花市外，也做了一回“老广”。各种卖相精美绝伦的点心（如虾饺、烧卖、叉烧酥）以及令人垂延欲滴的广式甜品（如双皮奶和杨枝甘露），都让美国校长及专家们赞不绝口，听不下嘴，在体验美食的同时，听徐徐道来的点心典故，更添一丝回味。

This was an experience that I will certainly not forget. The Spring Festival Flower Market of Guangzhou was one of few events that I have experienced in China that allowed me to enjoy authentic Chinese culture. The lively atmosphere not only filled the streets, but also permeated through the individuals and families celebrating. The beautiful flowers, unique arts and crafts, and the incredible Chinese people made this experience unforgettable.
这将会是我最难忘的经历！广州春节花市是我在中国体验的少有的最真实的传统文化活动，整条街道，每个家庭，每个人的脸上都洋溢着幸福快乐。美丽的鲜花，独特的民间艺术以及不可思议的民间艺人都将令这次经历难以忘怀。

A beautiful, full of color and joy, old tradition of families getting together. It is well preserved for the young generation to enjoy. Loved the bright red color of the Hongbao and the vivid yellow color of a rooster chick. The peach tree in blossom decorated with Hongbao is something that I've never seen before. I am very lucky to be able to experience this wonderful tradition in person, and in my favorite city Guangzhou! 大家，新年快乐！
一个美丽的，缤纷的、充满乐趣的，古老的传统聚集在今天。同时也能够让年轻人们乐在其中，红包的鲜红色以及生动小鸡装饰的黄色让我留恋。一个挂满了红包的桃树更是让我大开眼界，我非常幸运能够在我最喜欢的城市广州体验这一美好的传统节日。

The Chinese Spring Festival illustrated the connectedness between our cultures, as the spirit of the holiday is much like our Christmas. The focus and dedication toward family, the spirit of celebration and renewal, and the hospitality and generosity demonstrated by the Chinese people made me feel welcome and full of joy. The opportunity to have this celebration shared with me is one I will remember forever and I intend to bring my experience of the Spring Festival home with me to share with my family. I am very grateful to have the opportunity to have this important part of the Chinese culture shared with me and I will always carry this experience in my heart.
春节也体现了我们中美两种文化的融合，节日的氛围更像是我们的圣诞节:家人团聚的幸福，焕然一新的春意以及漂亮的装饰都让我感到非常的开心，这也将是我最难忘的经历，我也将在春节期间的经历带回美国，与我的家人们分享，非常荣幸能够有这样的机会感受到中国传统文化，我将永远铭记在心。

I want to thank you for opportunity to get a glimpse of the Chinese New Year and your Spring Festival. The word 'spring' indicates a time of renewal and relaxation. I certainly witnessed this at the Flower Market. But what I was so impressed with was the closeness of the Chinese families in the Chinese culture.As we walked through the market we saw hundreds of families with their children laughing and enjoying all there was to see.
非常感谢能够有这样的机会在此体验春节，春天这个词也意味着焕新及放松，在今天的花市中，最让我感到印象深刻的的是中国家庭团圆那种幸福的氛围。我们看到许多家长与小孩欢笑，玩耍。
此次美国校长及专家们专程前往广州，开展中美校长工作坊。在春节期间，他们仍然会停留在工作岗位上，兢兢业业，在此我们也向校长及专家们传达诚挚的谢意，也希望逛花市、品美食活动能够让校长及专家们的第一次春节之行更温馨。
