美式高中教师团队 | Haiku Poetry 徜徉在“三行诗”海之中

三行诗简介

HaiKu俳句:俳句是由中国古代的绝句传入日本后,发展成日本文化中的连歌演变而成。由“五-七-五”,共十七字音组成;以三句十七音为一首,首句五音,次句七音,末句五音。

英语俳句诗也同样有这样的音节限制,文笔简洁、流畅,通常第三句是诗歌的主题升华。文学史上的巨作《神曲》就是由这样的三行诗组成。

曾经获得国际诗歌比赛大奖并出版过英文诗集的IVA老师,记录了这次课堂教学并向我们推荐了学生们的部分作品。

――“三行俳句诗”

This week the 9th grade students have learnt about haiku poetry � what it is, how to recognize a haiku and even how to write your own.


这周,9年级的学生学习“三行俳句诗”。俳句诗是什么,如何辨别俳句诗以及写出自己的诗歌。


We started the class by watching a little Powtoon video on what a haiku should be. The students were instructed about the haiku syllable count (5-7-5), its topic (mainly nature) and the three-line arrangement � with the last line having to be a surprise. They were given simple examples of haikus made following this formula. We then spent some time understanding and practicing how to count syllables � this was the most difficult part of the lesson for some students, but they started clapping to help themselves! One clap � one syllable! They soon got into it and were clapping out random words they thought of.


课堂由一段视频引入,介绍俳句诗是什么。学生们了解了诗歌的形式,主题以及3行诗句结构。俳句诗的第一行通常会介绍整首诗的主体(这首俳句是关于什么的)。第二行有七个音节,一般会描述俳句主体的具体动作。最后一行有五个音节,通常是全诗的中心主题所在。我们一起赏析了很多著名的诗歌,学生们开始掌握并理解了这种文体。于是我们开始做了一个活动,每个人轮流拍手,拍一次手,说一句诗歌,学生很快融入到这个活动中。


Then the students were given a handout with some Japanese haiku examples. Haikus such as this one was presented:

Finally, we came to the part of the lesson where the students were asked to make their own haikus. I think they did very well! They got an A4 piece of colorful paper and were told to be careful about syllable count, lines and the grammar/spelling of their text. The topic was Winter, and I encouraged them to decorate their poems in any way they’d like to. Take a look at some of their creations hanging on our classroom wall! 


课堂的结尾,我给了学生一个主题:冬天,让学生写出自己的三行俳句诗,学生们把它制作成海报,装饰了教室。
