Eddie Conger
The Texas International Leadership School was established by the Texas State Board of Education on November 16, 2012, with Mr. Edward Conger as the school's founder and superintendent.
After retiring from the Marine Corps in 2001, Mr. Conger began his education career and was elected principal of Thomas Jefferson High School in the Dallas School District in 2008. During Mr. Conger's four years at the school, Thomas Jefferson achieved strong academic results and initiated Chinese language and exchange programs. By 2012, Thomas Jefferson had the largest Chinese program in the Dallas School District, with more than 600 students studying Chinese. Today, with 34 campuses around the world, the school has achieved unprecedented success under Mr. Conger's leadership.
